He is our friend. He came to show us that. He died in the showing and telling. No greater love can one show than to lay down His life for a friend. This we understand, today, more than ever. With all of the devistation going on in the world, people are laying there lives down everyday for a friend. Can we understand the meaning of this? Do we really get it. He asks nothing of us, nothing except that we believe in how much He loves us. That's all. Belief in how much we are loved. Sounds pretty simple to me. Than why, of why, have we humans, made it sooooooooo complicated.
